1. What MentorMinds is
MentorMinds lets you hold conversations with AI simulations of historical figures. Every mentor is an original AI simulation based on the public record — their writings, speeches, and documented lives. Mentors are not the real people, and MentorMinds is not affiliated with or endorsed by them or their estates.
2. AI-generated content
Mentor responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent with the historical record, and they do not represent the views of any real person, living or deceased. Conversations are for learning and reflection only — they are not professional, medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. For decisions in those areas, consult a qualified professional.
3. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent safety measures, or violate these terms.
4. Credits, subscriptions & refunds
Message credits are consumed as described in the app (one credit per mentor reply). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, which you can do any time via the billing portal — cancellation stops future charges and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. Purchased credits do not expire but are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change; existing subscribers keep their current price unless notified in advance.
5. Your content
Your conversations, notes, and quotes belong to you and are private by default. Sharing a conversation creates a public read-only page you can revoke at any time. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service (storing, processing, and sending your messages to our AI provider to generate responses). We do not sell your data or use your conversations to advertise to you.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use MentorMinds to generate unlawful, harassing, or harmful content; to violate others' rights; to attempt to extract other users' data; or to misrepresent AI output as statements by real people. Content limits appropriate to your age tier are part of the service and may not be circumvented.
7. Rights holders & takedown requests
We build every mentor with respect for the real person's legacy: original text grounded in the public record, original artwork, and clear simulation disclosures. If you represent a rights holder or estate and have a concern about a mentor, contact us via customer support — we review every such request and respond within 7 business days, including removing or modifying a mentor where appropriate. Copyright concerns are handled the same way.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MentorMinds's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
