Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
Your account details (email, optional display name, birthdate — used only to set an age-appropriate content tier), your conversations with mentors, and the notes and quotes you save. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Basic technical logs (IP, browser type) exist for security and debugging.
2. How conversations are processed
To generate mentor replies, your messages are sent to our AI provider under terms that prohibit using them to train their models. Conversations are private to your account unless you explicitly share one, and shared pages can be revoked at any time.
3. What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads or share your conversations with advertisers. We do not use tracking cookies — the only browser storage we use keeps you signed in and remembers preferences like your theme.
4. Service providers
Infrastructure runs on Google Cloud (US region). Payments: Stripe. AI responses: Anthropic (subject to change at any time but terms above will not change unless explicitly stated). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.
5. Retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. Deleting your account from the account page removes your profile and conversations; residual copies leave backups on their normal rotation. Billing records are retained as required by tax law.
6. Children
MentorMinds is for users 13 and older. Users under 18 receive an age-appropriate content tier based on the birthdate provided at signup.
